Over wintering Calabrese?

Need to know the best time to plant?

I have some Calabrese plants left over. Has anybody had any success growing these over winter? It seems that people normally grow these in the same season....

If you've got them Mr Cecil I'd say try it. They may need a little bit more protection than brassicas breed to overwinter, & will probably do nothing until the light levels pick up in the New Year, but if you can nurse them through to this point you'll have a great head start.

Nothing to loose really, worth an experiment.

Ok. So maybe I'll put fleece around them when we get into November(ish)
