Hi

I have tied in my new summer fruiting canes ready for next year but they are producing flowers now. Is this due to mild weather. What do I do cut them off or leave them. any advice appreciated

Thanks

Hello DD. I would remove the flowers. We only grow autumn fruiting raspberries, so they are still bearing fruit and will be getting cut down to ground level.

We have had flowers on our strawberries and we removed them...I know they are totally different plants but your raspberries might as well put their energy into establishing good roots, rather than trying to make fruits which will be killed off by frosts.
Happy with my lot
