Should seeds when they are pre chilled / stratified etc etc and ready to plant out in pots
be in a bright area , full sun or like seedlings in a light area but definitely not full sun ?

Light requirements are my concern for my Monterey Cypress seeds ..... when planting out.
Do seeds need light , dark ......
I intend to plant these seeds on the surface with a light sprinkling of compost on top.

(I started another thread as this might be useful for other hopeless gardeners such as myself !)

Hello! I think it depends on the plant you are going to plant. However, most plants require direct sunlight.
