In spring this year I palnted the pear tree "Beth" it was grafted on to dwarf rooting stock.

This week (24th August 2012) it is flowering.
Do I pick off the flowers or just leave them and hope they drop off naturally.

I would leave the flowers they will probably fall off without coming to fruit.

Pear tree need some more warmth and sun light that apples to fruit well. I have to say that pear beth covered with pure white flowers in mid-spring, followed by delightful, minor sweet pears. This high producing variety generates fruits with an excellent taste earlier than many other types in late summer.
grow light is essential for indoor growing
