I notice that "attachments" are not visible now. Other "img" pictures seem OK.

I can see all using Google Chrome.....but via Firefox and old version of IE Old H' and Alans Avatar are missing.

It's one of those times when it's good to be a Gardener.....and not a Computer Boffin.

Hi Clive

I can't see your attachments on Google Chrome

I wonder if it's a matter not of "If it's not broke don't fix it" but "We fixed it and now it's broke" :( :( :( :( :(

Hello Alan,

Ah, yes,...or rather oh no....seems I need to rephrase my previous post on this thread....

Make that I can see all Avatars via Google Chrome...whilst Old H' and yours are missing when viewing via Firefox and old version of IE..

...and....My attachments (haven't checked others) are missing when viewing via the three browsers that I have available....

I could see all avatars via IE 7, except now I have just posted and my avatar has gone :( . Also looking around I notice most of the photos have gone. I expect it is some techie thing that the forum whizz kids need to sort out .
Kind regards,

Elle

In fact, now I notice that where previously visable, Geoff and OH's have now disappeared from my view! Something must happen once you actually post....
Kind regards,

Elle

To avoid any confusion...or to apologise if I may cause some. ..I reloaded two of the attachments on the link you posted up Alan.

They are the ones of the Britains Atco lawnmower..so they do exist again...the rest of those on the thread remain missing..as I have not uploaded them again.

It seems that the links remain but the actual attached files have perhaps gone awol.
Links to photos loaded externally to Photobucket still work ok....as here;

Then it tumbled to me. ....that the fact I could see seemingly all avatars on Google chrome is because I am seeing them from stored on my computer..as soon as a history clear out was done on Chrome then it is same as others...only some avatars visible.

I think it is best to stop puzzling on this as poor old Kitchen Garden Admin is going to have enough heartache trying to puzzle it all out...he's perhaps happily mowing his lawn now and putting in a row of veg'...perhaps best we don't add to a webmasters woes.

There are some avatars showing (I used IE8 browser) but lots are missing. It's strange without the familiar pictures accompanying your postings and I miss them! :(
You will note, that one year on, I still haven't managed to add an avatar to my profile.
Cheers.

I hadn't noticed any of this until I read this thread, did it happen same time as downtime and I have not been observant or later? Thought I would upload a photo and see if a fresh one was OK.

Edit : Well that seems to work for me, if others can see it I guess the new site isn't seeing all the old data but that doesn't explain why avatars are patchy.
