I think you need to handle that when editing the initial photo & posting it to the website that will host it for you.

You should be able to set the image size in something like Photoshop. Most people run their screens in 1024 x 768 pixels. Thus any image bigger than 300 x 200 could start to swamp the screen.

Here's my attempt to post an image (one of my artichokes that escaped the pan as it was too beautiful to cook:

Cor - it's a bit long-winded isn't it?!

Just testing, I borrowed a digital camera a few weeks ago.

Broad beans (Aqualdulce) sown last October. We hope to start picking this week.

Mmmm that's quite a row. I take it you all like Broad Beans!

I tried sowing Aquadulce in February this year (never tried broad beans before). Though the packet said this was ok, I had a miserable rate of germination and had to scrap the patch - it's now got Runner beans in instead.

Hello Colin

I enjoyed viewing your web site, keep up the good work. We will be picking our beans to-morrow and hope to get some reasonable pocket money for our efforts. We also sowed broad beans in late November and they are quite advanced but the area we planted in February is far poorer, I think the frosts knocked them back This year we are a little disappointed with the number of flowers we had but time will tell what the plants have produced. We take the tops off them when they are in full flower hoping to encourage earlier and bigger beans and to prevent Blackfly which prefer the growing tops of the beans.

How have other gardeners’ beans flowered this year?
