Nothing Barney.

Some programs compensate and display pictures as they should be seen, others don't and display them as stored.
You either have yo find something that shows them as stored and let's you change and save the rotation to get it as you want it shown.

I use ReducePhotoSize on my Android phone or tablet, free app.
Do not put off thanking people when they have helped you, as they may not be there to thank later.

Hi Barney, on another forum I use members using iPhones and iPads seem to have these issues. They say that, if you are shooting landscape, keep the button to the right.
I use Android (or camera and a PC) and haven't had problems.
Nothing is foolproof to a sufficiently talented fool.

Thank you Peter and Stephen for the information, I borrow my wife's phone to take pictures and have uploaded successfully to the forum in the past but my latest pictures of my Atco mower display upside down but will try what you both suggest and hopefully will succeed.
