Swap fruit, veg, seeds and plants

Postby vegswap » Thu Apr 23, 2009 11:15 am

Hi, we have just started a produce exchange website -for the time being it is not profit making so I hope no one will mind me mentioning it here. I'm a very amateur gardener and only seemed to manage to grow rhubarb and spinach last year and there is only so much of it you can eat! -so we came up with a way to swap stuff. Let me know what you think

I think it's a great idea. It would be interesting to swap different potato varieties, for example, or strawberries, or squashes. But I am reluctant to commit myself to this at present, as my allotment activity promises to be very erratic, even tough I've now retired.

I hope your idea takes off.
