Tumbler tomato leaf dieback

All the leaves on my Tumbler tomatoes have shrivelled and died as the tomatoes started to ripen. As I've never grown this variety before I'm unsure whether this is a common feature or whether I've done something wrong. The tomatoes are fine and the compost has been kept moist.
