Hi OH, not november, but a friend gave me some sweet william seedlings on thursday, they are fragrant. Pansies are edible too, you might have time to grow from seed?

A muscat grape perhaps ? T&M have some fragrant winter pansies in their catalogue.

The Pansies and Sweet Williams are growing as we speak, Nature's Babe, so great minds must think alike.
I'll have to give the Grape some thought!

I'm on the look out for an early dessert grape with a muscat flavour and aroma - delicioso. My dark grapes are just turning colour now in the greenhouse, it was one I inherited with the garden - no idea what it is but being an old vine its very productive and sweet when ripe. Half the grapevine is inside the other half outside which helps stagger the crop. The more i prune the more vigorous it is, so a light prune for this year.
