Hello All,
not sure if I have put this enquiry in the right section but anyway: Around my raised beds, last year, I put down some white gravel. Although this made the whole area look very nice last year, this year the gravel has inevitably become covered in a fine green algae/ mould/ fungus. I don't want to replace the gravel as it was rather expensive so I was wondering whether anyone knew of anything I could spray or sprinklr on that woul get rid of the green. Would normal weedkiller do? Many thanks in advance. Regards.

Don't know for sure, but you could try one of the proprietary patio cleaners that claim to remove algae. The only problem is, you can't use the jet wash or you'll have no gravel left!

We get our gravel from the local farmer suppliers and it's never gone green.
