I,ve grown tomatoes for several decades now and regularly in past years used to get tomatoes with tiny Male appendages on them but realise now I haven,t had any for years either from the supermarket or home grown. I suppose EU regulations and supermarket policies have stopped supermarkets from selling imperfect fruit and veg or possibly tomato varieties are now less prone to developing imperfections.

Personally I think it quite interesting to get the occasional veggie misfits. Root veg normally produce the best ones. All part of the fun of home growing and lays a popular class at fruit and veg shows. :D

My Black Krim have had little noses (or tails). There is something about wonky fruit that makes you smile & feel kind of proud about as they don't look like the shop bought to prove they are home grown! A bit of a badge of honour so to speak!
