First pick of carrots are now ready, from an early sowing in pots/containers back in Jan/Feb.

Very pleased as daughter would live of them if she had a chance!

These are Early Nantes, I sow a pot every 2 weeks from Jan through to Early March. These start of in a warm greenhouse and have been in cold frames for the last few weeks. Might not keep us in carrots but they are yummy!

Jerry, that looks enormous and much bigger than mine are of the same variety. :shock: What size actually is it?

They are between 4 and 6 inches long, a 10 inch pot gives a feed or 3 so will tide us over untill the early outdoor sowings are ready.

Very pleased as this year I have managed to get them a good month earlier tha prevoius years..
