Looking splendid, Tigerburnie. What sort of size do your romanesco grow to? I've sown some in modules and they've all germinated, so they will be going into a bed once they're big enough. I love romanesco but I always think of it as Martian cauliflower as it looks so unworldly.

Last year they were around the size of a grape fruit, not massive, but enough for the two of us for a meal, very tasty and I hate cauliflower!!

Just a little corner of the garden. A couple of gloxinias that I grew from leaf cuttings.

Everything's growing nicely with this warmer weather, over night temps now 10 degrees every night and I'm having to take the side shoots off the tommies already.

French Strawberries are very tasty.

Lovely healthy plants. It's wonderful to have some warmer weather at long last.

I have strawberry envy Tiger! Although I did get 3 today from my outside ones which was exciting & tasty - time to net methinks!

That's all looking lovely (and delicious!). Another with strawberry envy - mine are some time away yet.

Those are Mara des Bois, the pots will go outside in a few weeks and will be back in again in September before the frosts, the clay pots will be plunged in the greenhouse soil to over winter them, hopefully I will get one or two strong runners to add to the collection, they really are a very tasty fruit.

My watering collars are in a 2ft by 8ft raised bed 8 off, looking at what others have done they seem to have more per area could I get more if how many?

Quite chilly outside today, Harr coming in off the sea, only 17 degrees inside the greenhouse, but overnight temp was 12 so all is good. The Dahlias and Fushias are outside in their pots giving the residents to expand, the tommies are just getting their first flowers as are the chillies and the dwarf French beans are covered in flowers and only 5 feet tall!!

Dwarf beans, only 5 feet tall......the climbing ones must be very impressive.....
