Another visit to the greenhouse to see how the crops are coming along, also a bit of a taste test. Just click on the link and switch on the sound if you want the commentary.

Excellent Burnie…..just wondered what the creaking noise is, sounds like you are on a wooden boat… :)

Ha ha, I think that's the auto focus on the lens, if I sat down and operated the camera properly with the lens in manual, that wouldn't happen. I need to get an external microphone, then you won't hear that, I'm still learning how to use the camera.

Well done, Burnie, another informative film…..on the big tomato, do you think it has Greenback, as my greenhouse tomatoes have suffered badly from it this year…i’ve put it down to the heat.

Not sure as I've never grown them before, taste test will give me some clues hopefully, thanks for the kind words, I'm quite enjoying doing them as I've not been able to get out wildlife filming lately.

Well the taste test indicated no greenback on the Cour di Bue, it was delicious, with sweetness I wasn't expecting for some reason, very juicy and also cooked very well in a dry wok and had on a slice of toast.

Thank you OH, no I don't think I have grown Potentate, indeed I'm not sure I've eaten one either, I shall be looking at lists and catalogues over the next month or two, making up my list, I have some seeds left, but will need at least two new ones to try.

Likely to be the last in the growing season for this year, in the greenhouse on a rather cold and damp day outside.
