I discovered a nursery of baby slow worms today, Lucky I have more than one compost heap. They are so cute

Unfortunately our cats like to play with them PJ , I rescue and put them in the wild patch where they disappear into the log pile to recover, amphibians seem to like our garden, we get frogs, toads, and newts. In a heatwave the newts retreat to play way down in our well.
