The chicken house arrived today whilst I was at work. Interesting since I had organised for it to be delivered on Friday when I don't work

Anyway have unpacked it and now need to put it together, looks very small for 3 chooks  Perhaps I should only get 2 or do they like squashing up?

They LIKE squashing up at night, they squash up even when they don't have to as it keeps them nice and cosy.

Dear Seedling, glad it has arrived safely, how exciting.

Two's company, three's a lot more fun
for the Hens. :)

I will get 3 -dont panic  . The man in my road has not been able to get me any so will have to find some elsewhere.
Managed to build the house before it got dark and then went back to work. I hope they like it -it was more annoying to build than a flat pack.

Just got my 3 chickens. Very exciting. They are in their house settling in. I`ve called them Hattie, Mabel and Ruby- all brown . Will try to put photo up at some point .

Clever thing. thought it would be days before they settled.

There was evidence of shock as well (if you know what i mean). Plenty of compost to come i suspect.
