Just been and checked on the babies and took my mobile for pics. Looks like 4 babies this time, the other 2 had 2 each, hopefully they get strong and manage the long journey to S. Africa end of Sept.

They have now all left, a little sad but also happy they all survived, 8 new swallows in total, looking to get a wildlife camera for next year if they return.

Your little families have done well and I,ve enjoyed hearing of their progress. Such an arduous journey, especially for the youngest babies. Let's hope they all revisit next year.

Second brood still in the nest here but they are very active so expecting amateur fliers in the kitchen instead of the garage any day soon.
