Puffins are great. I saw quite a lot on holidays on Lundy when young. (Guillemots and Kittiwakes too)

We live one mile away from a lovely sandy beach, pity we are further north than Moscow though, the water is flippin' freezin'.

Like everyone I love puffins. Most memorable was watching amateur flyers on Skellig Michael long before Star Wars made it famous. Also long before my digital camera must look if I've got any slides of them.

My wildlife pond is maturing nicely, planted in pots in the water and along two edges in bog gardens made from the excess pond liner, you can see water mint, ragged robin and water forget me nots along the far edge. We have a frog, damsel fly nymphs(assuming the frogs not eaten them all)water boatman, diving beetles and pond skaters. Lots of smaller insects visit the pond including hover flies.

Wow! This Razorbill bird looks so amazing! Was it hard to catch it in such a royal pose?
Also your pound looks like it straight from a fairytale!
