Which helped with cleaning the oven.
I sympathise with cook, I've had gallstones, they remove your gall bladder by keyhole surgery, did she have that?
Kidney stones are worse in a different way and a burst disc in the lower back is much scarier and almost as painful.
We accumulate these things as we age and some methods of treatment have become so much less invasive and less risky than they were twenty or thirty years ago.
Do not put off thanking people when they have helped you, as they may not be there to thank later.

I can identify with invasive surgery for a ruptured disc 20 years ago. Still suffer nerve damage as a result. More nice photos tiger but as you say, nit necessarily good weather to be trailing out when you're unwell. At least we can stay in the warm and enjoy the benefits.

Wow Tiger, they are beautiful, your photos are amazing & very uplifting to see so many species around your way!
We're good for sea gulls down here, which are beautiful in their own right. How come you never see a dirty or muddy seagull btw? However amazingly I looked out the back window this morning & there was a Kestrel sitting on the school sign at the back fence. That is 2 rarities that have visited the school, a juvenile woodpecker a couple of years back & this guy today. Nearly forgot the healthiest fox I've ever seen also trotting across the playing field last year.

Wildlife, gardening and fishing, have mostly kept me out of mischief all my life, though was a bit of a rascal on the rugby pitch...……………………...but so were most people on the pitch, best of pals off it .

Pity the image isn't bigger, if you look on the left side you can see one of the chicks heads, 3 fledged that year, none in 2018 unfortunately.

Had a trip to St. Andrews and found a large flock of Common Scoters, there is apparently some Surf Scoters too, but I can't see them in the throng.
