For many years I have recorded the first lesser celandine in flower in our garden (our garden is absolutely covered in them). This year they were quite late but no less welcome!

The only place I’ve seen an egret is when fishing the river Edbro in Spain I’ve never seen one over here

We now get three different Egrets in Britain, not seen a Cattle Egret in Scotland yet, but they visit southern England, we have a Great Egret in the area, but I've not managed to photograph it yet.

We've got one here on the River Stort, down in the town centre park.
Seen it a fair few times now.

You must have been quick Tiger! I have seen a lot of peacock butterflies in the past couple of weeks and they rarely pause for long.

They're all gorgeous, aren't they? Hubby is delighted as we have regular hedgehog visitors at our new place. We used to get them in Bournemouth 20 years ago but haven't seen them there for about 17 years.
