The photos are very beautiful! Do you shoot them with your phone or camera? My phone just doesn't take great pictures. Photo quality, detail is not very good. My thoughts go back to buying a good camera so that I can save all the interesting moments. I looked at several reviews, now I read information about popular cameras here https://homemakerguide.com/best-low-light-camera/, but there is not enough knowledge to understand which is better and make the right choice. Or is it easier to just buy a phone with a powerful good camera? I don't even know which is best.

I'm still out with my cameras, but have now gone into making short movies, I'll sort something out later.

This is one I like, a Curlew in flight is quite a tricky target with a long lens on the camera.

I've added a link to a video I made, not very professional, but you get to see what I've been up to. It's in the view of my garden page.

A practice shot on a very windy day, I am slowly getting the hang of this movie making palaver.

I took this a couple of weeks ago at nearby sea cliffs, click on the youtube logo to watch, there is sound too which adds to the clip, thankfully it's not smelly vision so you won't smell the guano lol.

Enjoyable clip to watch Tiger- and good to have the sound effects too. Makes you realise how noisy the colony is. I wonder if everything quietens down after dark otherwise those birds must have a permanent headache!
On a more serious front, I do wonder if one bird is capable of recognising the call of its mate as I really wouldn't be able to differentiate between the sound of one bird's cry and another.

Thanks folks, firstly I have the boss keeping an eye on me, I'm not allowed near the cliff edge...............at least not when she's looking, the joy of a long lens, you can look like you are close, but actually you're not.
I'm told the birds recognise the nest location from distance and their partners voice when closer, now who they asked to get that nugget of information I don't know.
