Don't they work hard to get out of the shell - fantastic to see.
Can I ask, not being that knowledgeable on nesting birds wouldn't them with the camera being up so close put the mother bird off assisting or visiting the chick? Or do they always let them get out themselves? Just seems in 8 minutes the chick would get pretty cold.
