Seriously, we've worked hard this past weekend to improve the chicken's living quarters.

They now have

Double the floor space, new area on earth instead of wood chip.
Swinging cabbage (cabbage a day keeps the peckers at bay) which is a big hit.
More sunshine (when it does come out)
Improved chicken shed with new and better perches and nest boxes.
Raised shed to give more floor space underneath.
Bespoke ladder to climb into shed.
New perches in the run where they sit and watch the foxes have their tea!
Fully wired and fox/rat proofed (as much as is possible)

The edifice is known locally as Cluckingham Palace :roll:

No pecking going on that we can see and more eggs per day already.

How are you supposed to start and maintain a healthy lifestyle if it completely removes a wine lover’s reason to live?
