Strange bird - rubbish photograph

Saw something among the birds after I came in from feeding them this morning and it took me a while to work out what it was. It is a cock Chaffinch with a white breast. I'll have to try and get a better picture when the light is more favourable, if it comes back.

That's unusual (or is it?). Never seen one like that before. Hope he returns to your bird table.

perhaps he's a very elderly bird and instead of going grey like humans, some of his feathers turn white! Must confess I've never seen one like that although occasionally we do spot the odd blackbird who's sporting one or two streaks of white feathers. We had a regular one earlier in the winter but he seems to have moved on now.
