lots of ladybirds out early - greenflies beware!

Noticing ladybirds everywhere this year, is it going to be a good year for them? They were the native type too. I have seen fewer bumble bees so far though maybe the wet weather.
Sit down before a fact as a little child, be prepared to give up every preconcieved notion, follow humbly wherever and to whatever abyss nature leads, or you shall learn nothing.

Yes, I've noticed them everywhere..tucked away in crevices in the wooden fence and boldly strolling all over the vegetable patch. Never known so many before.
