We've got a wind-up radio/lantern/mobile phone charger which came from Woolworths which works pretty well. Don't know whether any other outlet is selling them following the demise of Woollies but Milletts may offer something in their camping range.

I got a smashing little wind up radio, (which also takes AA batteries) for around a fiver from Argos. The make is UNI-COM. I'm very happy with it, as it's small enough not to get in the way. I've had it about 3 years now and I haven't checked recently to see if they still have them but it's worth a look-see.
Cheers.
Happy with my lot

Compo - I've looked carefully but can find no manufacturer's name but I know they were made in Asia as it arrived without the lead for the mobile phone charger and we had to wait until Woollies got their next batch of imports from Asia until it was replaced. You could try Googling 'suppliers of wind-up and solar radios' This bought one result:

Hi Compo, wondering if you tried an entry for the one in the KG comps?
You might be lucky. :)
