Hello,
Back when the first A114 engine came out it used Champion J8C...but more recently I was advised, by a posting on a now defunct mower forum from someone current in the mower world, of a later change of recomendation to better suit running with current fuels. The plug was from the NGK brand...and to my surprise at the time checked out as an extended nose type...which worried me a little at the time of seeing the posting. :o
Sadly, I never made a note of the type....and then suddenly the forum was gone  ..

However..a current Qualcast or Atco Service Agent should be able to be able to provide the current spec' far better than my aged info these days  :?
http://www.atco.co.uk or http://www.qualcast.co.uk then the Owners section and Service Agent search to find your local agent..

If you do find the answer..please post back with the news to in turn help others.. :)

All the best,
Clive.

In the end I bought Champion RJ19LM and it seems fine.
