Hi Dougles,

I bought one last year and it is great. You can literally sow a row of seed in the time it takes to walk it.

The new price in the UK is about £150!

Brilliant for carrots, parsnips, radish, peas etc that you would direct sow. and you shouldn't need to thin. The 'bean' plate is not big enough for Broad beans (butterbeans) or runner beans (pole beans)

Only one draw back and that is you need about 50+ grams (2oz) of seeds to make it work and you then have to tip the whole thing carefully to get the last of the seeds out of it. So only really practical for large areas of seeds.
I don't suffer from insanity .... I enjoy it!
