Hi there from a newby.
I have a Flymo L47-5 fitted with a Dellorto FHC2013A Carburetor. The float bowl screw has snapped off and I cannot find a replacement anywhere so far. So two questions;
1. Does anyone know where I might source the part
2. I see there are a lot of cheap Chinese carbs available on ebay, does anyone know if there is a suitable replacement (modxel No.) for the Dellorto.
Many thanks in advance

According to a quick Google the Dellorto is the same as the Tecumseh MV100S carb, not much help as that doesn't seem to equate to the many Tecumseh copy carbs available. However I did buy a Tecumseh carb to replace a Dellorto FHC2013A a while back, to cure the well known problem of them refusing to work properly after the winter lay up. Can't remember the model, but the Tecumseh carb looked the same, so I bought it. Bore was bigger but the flanges were identical. It ran fine as the Tecumseh had an adjustable main jet. I have a feeling the choke was a bit different and needed a bracket making to keep it from flapping about.

Surprised you can get Tecumseh parts!
Could nd get a replacement fuel tank unless shipped from the USA, shipping then being 75% of the costs.
Fortunately I got a full engine, "working take off from a buggy" for £10.

Cheers Peter
The Dellorto is on a Tecumseh MV100S. But any reference I have found down that avenue refer me to getting the carb No of current installed carb. I'm going round in circles!

"Surprised you can get Tecumseh parts!"

It was just after Tecumseh stopped production of engines. Meadowbrook, who specialise in selling new old stock garden machinery parts on eBay, were selling loads of Tecumseh stuff at rock bottom prices, I assume they had cleared the UK Tecumseh importer's stores.

There was a tie in between Tecumseh and Dellorto. Aspera, who made Tecumseh engines under licence, used Dellorto carbs, and many Tecumseh carbs, look like Dellortos.
