Can anyone recommend a good battery strimmer? Midto higher price range?

I have a Gtech: https://www.gtech.co.uk/garden-tools/grass-trimmers/gt3-grass-trimmer.html which is OK. 30 minutes running time is OK for me. It easily does the two paths (each about 30 yards long) and round and about.

But I had already bought the Gtech, partly because my sister was very enthusiastic about their vacuum cleaner. Also British brand. Also, I have a battery impact driver and screwdriver by Makita (small DIY type) and plenty of other tools (drill, sander, plane, jigsaw, circular saw etc) taking mains power and am disinclined to discard them all and reinvest in a full system on battery - it is far too wasteful.

We have had a Stihl battery strimmer for about four or five years which has served us very well to date. A full charge lets you strip for about 35 minutes

If you don't have any others, look at the Mountfield freedom 48 range, we have 3 of them so far and can recommend

Like most wireless equipment, the battery is often the key, whatever power tool it is, the higher the voltage the better it seems to work, I have a 36 volt B&D and it works very well.
