Had to share my new mode of transport for getting to the plot.

Had 2 bags of compost in the trailer and it pulled ok.

It is electric assisted and gets up to 15 mph.

Looks like a good solution Colin and I'm sure after an hour's digging some power assistance will be very welcome on the return journey.
Just make sure you dont leave any vegetables peeking out of your practical carrier or you might find yourself being mistaken for a useful new home vegetable delivery service.

Mr Westi has bought one of those mobility scooters due to his walking problems & methinks he could carry a few bags of compost down to the lottie for me! We've got the car but dog usually manages to rip one sharing the boot with it. Yep currently prioritising dog visits - she loves it! And the Mr has to contribute now he can't dig for me - he eats most of the crop!

I use it in reverse as I collect food scraps & wood ash and any cardboard for composting.

Jokingly said would be good to have solar panel on my back with a wind turbine on my helmet.

Looking to add a solar system on the plot for pumping water and be used to recharge the lights/bike alarm on the bike, wonder if it would be viable to charge it up as well?

Perhaps Mr Westi should upgrade to a double buggie with trailer, then you and the dog could get a ride whilst transporting the compost?

I have a couple of solar panels on the plot these are connected to a car battery which drives a 12 volt bilge pump it's only a small set up so no need for a control box or an inverter

Colin I've had them that long there is no way of finding out ,we have a solar system in our little house in Spain I know the size of them but they are big not like the tiny ones down the plot if I had to guess I would say around 25 watt and 15 watt
