Wire coat hangers

Postby Primrose » Sat Mar 31, 2018 12:48 pm

A recent wardrobe declutter has left me with a surfeit of wire coat hangers. I’ m sure there must be some useful ways in which I can recycle them for garden use.
Any innovative suggestions please . Links to photos would be even better!

You can cut them up and make hooks to push in the ground to anchor plastic cloches etc.

Thank you for the link Diane. There are some pretty innovative and useful ideas on there, even if many of them relate to indoors rather than outdoors.

Man, I don't want to be a loser. Soon I'll see phone slots spins there. For sure, the games are simple. That is what I think.

Some interesting ideas there Diane. It looks like quite a pliable wire they are using. Some of ours are quite difficult to bend as I've found when making pegs to hold strawberry runners down.
