I have a lovely recipe for Rabbit stew garnished with Pak Choi.

But don't eat it as much as I used to. The petshop has narf put up the price of the rabbits. I am now on to Guine Pigs.

I will look into that I have a lovely stainless Border fork ash handle, that my mrs got me last christmas then used to dig out the rockery with, its great all the prongs now point differant directions.

I get my big rotavator out run it over the plot. Pick out all the weeds and other rubbish.
Cover the plot with Manure, Compost, leaves or what ever I have. Then run the rotavator over it again to mix it in.

All done no diggin.

They are a pain the arse to peal so you have to have them as salad potatoes but the skin is very think.

The roots are very fine and shallow. If you dont get it weed free when you pull the weeds this pulls up the asparagus. I rotovated my bed pulled out the rubbish then plied on 500kg of compost to make a raised bed and then planted into that. Any weeds I missed I snip off with secuters when they show ...

Or get a load of news papers the old Sunday Times was good open it up and lay it out cover with thin layer of earth. Borrow Wifes kitchen and use it to cut thru the paper when planting. Works on my Strawberries.

I go along the MOD line. Bung them in the greenhouse and if they die ok well theres more in the shop.
Most years I loose a few.

Croydon Council make their own compost. they collect all the cutting from the parks and verges. Then they collect all (5%) the househould cuttings and have a skip at the tip for green rubbish.
