Re: Allotment garden shed and an accident

Robo I know, but some people think they know better, my OH wanted me to get on with my sowing of seeds so wouldn't accept my help and this is the outcome. He is very upset at what has happened, particularly as it has hit his business as he works for himself!!

Allotment garden shed and an accident

In January we lost our felt off the allotment garden shed. My OH sheeted it and was waiting for a good day to cover it in new felt. Five weeks ago my OH decided to go and roof it, I offered to hold the ladder but "no I wasn't needed" a short time later he fell of the roof. Frightened the l...

Re: How do you post a photo.

All my photos are on a tablet and I have no trouble posting on to Instagram or Facebook but will have to look at how to post on here as I have some brilliant pictures of our plot and produce and wanted to post them.

How do you post a photo.

Please can someone remind me how to post a photo. I have an Instagram account and am a dab hand at those but I can't for the life of me remember how to post on here. Many thanks.

Re: We seem to have missed a birthday

Thank you Monika for your best wishes, I have realise how much I have missed coming on here today and the banter that went on. I can't remember how long ago we met but it was at your village show. It was so nice to meet you. We had our granddaughter with us who is now 20 so it was quite some time ag...

Re: We seem to have missed a birthday

Thank you for my birthday wishes. We have been away in the Cotswolds for a week to celebrate my birthday and I had intermittent internet. I have been missing in action for this year as I have not had a good 12 months with my health, having various tests to see what was wrong. Finally at the beginnin...

Re: Happy Birthday.

Thank you everyone for my birthday wishes. We have been away in the Cotswolds for a week to include my birthday and we had no internet access. I had a brilliant birthday at a barn conversion in the middle of no where, lots of fields. There were no houses or roads close by and we watched lots of hare...

Re: Blight??

Early or late it still looks like it has killed our plants. Do I dig them up or leave them in the ground, that is the question.

Re: Potatoes

Thanks Geoff, I now remember that they are ok. We picked some more potatoes today and we had more slug damage. We have had chocolate spot on our broad beans and the sweet peas are dreadful with no flowers. I have tried different courgettes this year and am not happy with two of the plants, can't rem...
