WE HAVE DAMSONS IN VODKA,CHILLI PASTE CHILLI SAUCE AND CHILLI JAM,BLACKCURRANT ,STRAWBERRY,RHUBARB JAMS.RED CURRANT AND DAMSON JELLY.PEAS IN THE FREEZER.DRIED CHILLI.DRIED PUFFBALL. if you break off the male flowers and remove the petals you can pollinate the female flowers some people use a soft paint brush to pollinate fruits etc.its not a big job to do the pollinate the flowers your self

yes JB the carrots are grown in straight rows. the bed is 1.2 meters wide and 12 meters long.we have roughly 20 evenly spaced rows of carrot's a jet system would work good we are on mains water so far the water is free but they are going to fit a meter to each house in the near future 4-5 jet would ...

3 of my four raised beds have a drip irrigation system but what system would be best for my carrots would an over head sprinkler or a sprinkler spraying from the carrot bed itself.or is there another system be best.what would you recommend we grow about 6-7square meters of carrots each year regards ...

we get plenty rain in Ireland and you do too to wash off the salt.its not necessary to wash of the salt it can be used straight from the sea shore for out door use we leave it outside the tunnel for a few days before bringing it into the poly tunnel .i would only wash off the salt when i am making t...

it isn't as good as the peat in south west kerry. people come as far away as Dublin with trucks to buy the best turf as fuel
