Re: What a great resource, but ...........

This forum is my daily "fix", usually around the time of the Archers on the radio which I have listened to for nigh on 60 years and my OH heartily dislikes. It's amazing what range of questions are answered by members, even if the reply takes some time in coming. What saddens me, though, ...

:D at above two replies Dare I venture to suggest that it has been a long long time since a banana boat last used the Thames, probably about the time HMS Troutbridge sailed the airwaves. Conversation has bought back to mind the times of my youth when my parents frequently dealt with door to door sa...

The maid asked for a raise, and the wife was upset. She asked, "Now, Helen, why do you think you deserve a pay increase?" Helen: "There are three reasons. The first is that I iron better than you." Wife: "Who said that?" Helen: "Your husband." Wife: "Oh.&...

Re: Late Summer bits and bobs.

Dear Westi, what is a, "C" year? It's nice to see how positive you are on the things that have done well, rather than the things that haven't been quite as good. And that is exactly what you must do in gardening. it's been a 'C' year - still taking ouctdoor c ucumbers, c arrots without an...
