Re: A bit of a rant asking 'what's the point'
The bottom of the 'Board Index' page is probably not a place people venture to very often if at al. the purpose of being part of the forum is to answer, contribute to, or learn something from 'New Posts' and that is probably where most people head straight to. Note to Admin: Perhaps at the top of t...

If it goes bang when you hit it again, then you shouldn't have hit it again

Re: belated birthday wishes for pa snip
Happy (belated) Birthday Pa Snip.
I'm not one who normally notices these things at the bottom of the page. Perhaps I should be a little more observant, and also a little more diligent at sending greetings when appropriate. Anyway, I hope it was enjoyable.

Doesn't their growth rate depend on how deep you planted them?

Cant seem to find any retailers of it around this area
I get mine from my (fairly) local allotment association trading hut, who obviously buy in bulk, but I don't know whether they get it direct from Clover or via a third party.

Re: Welcome Spring, Bits and Bobs.
Question for OH Anybody any compost brand recommendations I’m using Clover MPC, bought from my local allotment association trading hut. This seems to be performing well this year, as it has in the past. As with any other MPC it seems prone to drying out more easily than is ideal, and being virtuall...

Re: Welcome Spring, Bits and Bobs.
Another cracking day here. Apart from a brief shower yesterday at lunch time that makes two on the trot. I think I've got more done on the allotment in two days than the rest of the year put together; at least, that's what my back is telling me!. The plot is actually looking as though someone loves ...

Yes, welcome.
You certainly sound like a chip off the old block; or should I say a pea from the same pod.

Click on the 'speech bubble' icon at the top right of the web page. If you hover over it, it will say 'join our forum'.

Absolutely - there should be an email coming out to you tomorrow!

Despite my rants on my other posting (Oh! What chaos!) I promise I shall be suitably impressed when the gremlins have been ironed out.

Re: Oh!what chaos!
Thanks Fred I got into the forum via the link in the e-mail notification about this post You are lucky to have had an email. I had to discover how to reach the forum by contacting Mortons Media. I find the link via the speech bubble icon is unsatisfactory in that (at least on my PC) no legend of an...

If you are reading this, you have presumably solved the conundrum of how to access the forum. Yesterday morning, there it was; yesterday afternoon, there it was - gone! The KG website seemed to have been hijacked by someone called Zeddit, with no apparent links to the forum. Oops, big-time, or what?...

Re: Getting Madder & too Old!
Had a phone call from a foreign sounding gentleman at 0735 Fri morning telling me he had detected a fault with my computer. [switched off at the time] Seem rather perplexed when I gave him my standard reply. I do not have a computer. Then the line went dead. I have been told by similar foreign soun...
