They have had no protective treatment which the other varieties have had a couple of times when I received blight warnings. All my other tomatoes seem clear. They crop earl...

Re: Late Summer Bits and Bobs.
Sorry to her about the loss of your wife Alan, it has indeed been a turbulent year for you. All the best with the eye op as well. Re: fibre pots
Hi Dan I've been looking at getting one of those for quite some time but remain undecided based on other's opinions. My concern is them not lasting long enough to get the seedlings into the ground, as others report that the newspaper soon perishes with the watering and the plants & compost leak ...

Die Back on Fruit Trees
My neighbor went along pointing at bits on my fruit trees basically saying they had die back. The Pear Tree has scab which with careful observation & pruning I am gaining some control over & actually have fruit that are unmarked this year, so pretty sure that is what she saw on that tree. Th...

Awe Richard - are you not the man then?? I had a lot more trouble with on line stuff with my previous security but when I was hacked the nice anoraks at the computer shop recommended Bull Guard and it seems a lot more effective. Especially useful on Face Book as it identifies good sites with a nice ...
