I had this prob. last year.First cucs.sweet crisp then hit and miss,peeling does not help.Some ridge cuc.last year Master Piece this ,though due to weird weather I won`t know what these taste like for a few weeks. I hope someone ealse knows the answer,I thought outdoor cucs.did not need any flowers ...

I won`t complain it could rain for the rest of the year,remember spring?I am going to do what I never do and sit in the garden and enjoy it(not looking at the apple tree which needs pruning or at the veggie patch where the clay/concrete needs preparing for further sewings...).I`ll leave the watering...

Thanks both, if these come right I might attempt later ones next year,I went for earlies so if they were a disaster it would not be too late for a different crop.I have had a look in to the middle and some do indead have twisted leaves,some are just nice healthy leaves...can these be steamed and use...

Cauliflower help
I planted out some snowball cauliflowers,1st attempt,only 3 have curds,decent size,not one of the others have anything.Can anyone tell me what went wrong,do I wait and hope or dig them out and plant something ealse?
