The Sun god has been kind to us on our Patron Saints day here in South Wales,wall to wall sunshine since it rose after 7 o'clock this morning and temperature in double figures. Fruit trees,Johnboy.I am thinking of planting a plum and there are plum/greengage trees 50 yards or so from where I intend planting it .If they will act as pollinaters then it will give a better choice of variety to plant.Unfortunately only room for one.

Thank you everyone for your good wishes on my impending retirement next December,I have been told that retirement is "the best kept secret." He wrote on my form,Mouse,"to carry on in current role until retirement in December 2010-career plan longer term (12 months plus):N/A.

I can't claim credit for the fly pictures.They were e-mailed to me by a mate,who in turn was e-mailed them by his son in America.I just thought that it was so good that I had to share and put it on this Forum.
