Started winter digging on my plot.It quite easy to dig being very sandy/loam and light but the bindweed roots go on and on and on.....
About half a dozen plots have been given up just lately so there will be new faces about the site next year.

Ten seconds after taking this photo of the Windmill in Nessebar,Bulgaria,the heavans opened and I was soaked from head to foot and within twenty seconds the streets were like rivers.And they do not have a Monsoon season in Bulgaria!!

Morrisons supply them for their loose fruit and vegetables.A few extra end up in my trolley and in my shopping bag;and very useful they are too!!

Whilst putting out my washing this morning I needed(almost)to wear a Safety helmet!!.In the high winds the acorns were being blown off the Oak trees and raining down like machine-gun bullets!And they sting if they hit you.

Someone once defined the difference between knowledge and wisdom. Knowledge was knowing that the Tomato is actually a fruit. Wisdom is not including it in a fruit salad.
