Update on my hip pain. I went for Bowen treatment on Tuesday morning. I havent taken any painkillers since then and I have had very little pain. I am suprised because it was really bad on Tuesday morning so much so that I struggled to get on the bed for treatment. I cant recommend this treatment hig...

I think Northern Polytunnels is part of LBS Polythene but I am not sure. We bought our polytunnel from First Tunnels in Barrowford, Nr Nelson Lancashire. They could not have been more helpful. They gave my husband loads of advice before he chose which tunnel to get and I have been back to the shop o...

Hi Primrose. Our printer doesnt like me to take the cartridge out and put it back so I just keep clicking the window that tells me to change the cartridge off. Yes I agree loo rolls are useful as long as you dont over water them which is what happened to me last year. I have my family collecting the...

Just dropped my husband off at work, still not able to drive after his operation on his knee. Tomorrow he can. The drive back was brilliant, it is quite warm and lovely and sunny. I can see the bird feeders from my kitchen table and I have three siskins and two gold finches on them. I am waiting for...

Replacement cartridges
My printer has been telling me I need to replace the cartridges for ages but I dont take any notice, because if I had changed it then I bet I would have wasted a quarter of the ink. I have just had to replace the cartridge in my Canon printer. I cannot believe the amount of packaging just to get the...

I had been suffering with pains in my arms and leg muscles and extreme tiredness and I had not been sleeping because of the pain my doctor prescribed a mild antidepress...

Flies in the compost bin!!
We have two plastic compost bins with lids from the local council. Yesterday when we took off the lid to add some more kitchen waste there were hundreds of little white flies flying out of the compost. My husband says they are midges I think they look like white fly. Is this normal? Cant remember it...
