I've just seen an ad for goji berry plantlets - has anyone grown these before. I have read that they can be quite invasive so I'd plant them in a tub I think.
Any goji berry experts out there? Your horticultural tips would be most welcome.

Best paeony
I have room for just one paeony (it has to be a paeony) - and wondered which to get - oh so many.
Which is the longest flowering, unusual colouring (not just bog standard pink) scented variety?

You'll know if they are broody - if they stay in the nestbox all day, regardless of whether there are any eggs in there - and they object if you try to move them. (they will fluff their feathers up and possibly try to peck you or they'll definitely make it obvious that they want to be alone!). That'...

I've already started regular spraying with Poultryshield - just in case. I had a sudden major outbreak 2 years ago - but the Poultryshield - together with Duramitex - sprayed alternate weeks in the henhouse - seems to have kept them at bay. I hate those redmites - they killed a little frizzle bantam...

Blimey! Just reading this has made me itchy all over Here, in Dorset, we used to have a little fly called 'the Blandford Fly'. It used to appear in the spring and bite people on the ankle if they were gardening, or worse still, if they were bending to weed then folk were bitten on the neck and face ...

Hatching chicks is very rewarding - and as your brother is willing to help you then you should be fine. I'd suggest that you make sure the incubator is clean and check that the temperature is stable before adding any eggs. Get the eggs as fresh as possible - after a week or so the fertility starts t...

Painting plastic bin.
I've been given a very large plastic wastebasket - just right for a couple of tumbling toms - but the bin is a horrible grey colour. What type of paint to I need to use to change it to a more garden friendly colour (terracotta, for example)? Do I need to prepare the surface at all? Any DIY tips grea...

Cherrycoop - what sort of quails are they? I have chinese painted quail and they are in a birdroom with minimal heat (I have a tubular heater in there just to keep it frost free). Be careful using hay as it can grow mould if it gets damp - which will be injurious to the quail. I use easibed (plenty ...
