I am going to re-do my allotment this year by dividing it up into raised beds. I want to plant some potatoes but am not sure how well I will be able to ridge them up in the beds. Sue I think that it really depends on your preference in taste. I seem to remember an article in KG some time ago (by Alan Romans maybe?) when he was discussing the difference between floury and waxy potatoes. Just spent my Xmas money on a table frame thingy for growing strawberries. Has anyone used one and if so are then any varieties that seem to do well? The pictures in the catalogue showed the strawberries hanging down over the edge of the "table" and I wondered if some varieties may be better suited ...
