Our garden has a lot (1000s) of bluebells and as you rightly remark - a few pink ones: they are I suspect a sport and only occur in th southfacing section. We have a large clump of white which we - iirc- purchased 15 ish years ago.

Well I finally removed it .. lots of fleece available plus heater sitting in greenhouse ... but judging by the BBC 5 day weather forecast I will need neither. One thing that did surprise me was the condensation overnight on the inside of the glass.. did noit happen when bubblewrap was there. Lovely ...

We have around 60 hyacinths planted out in the garden after being in pots. Provided they are in free draining ground (too wet and they may rot) they will flower and last and last - some of ours are over 15 years old...

Raining lightly here. Not warm. Flowers are beautiful.. our 1/10th price daffs ex Focus - surplus stock - are boootiful (about 100 mixed daffs for £1..) Time to remove bubblewrap insulation from Greenhouse?

I'm debating with myself whether to remove or not.. or wait till mid April. Our nighttime temperatures are 2-6C , average about 4C I guess but we often have late frosts.

Any advice? Or should I take advantage of this lovely weather and do it now?

I'm currently using up my stocks of Tesco soluble feed purchased at 50p each end of last season lits £2 but also use Phostrogen....(when it's discounted:-)

Been cutting down a very tall (15metres+) old willow so on double extended aluminium ladders.. but sawing the old fashioned way (by hand) so lovely and warm...

Otherwise it's sunny but piercing wind in Staffordshire Moorlands.. the kind of weather that gives you a tan (of the wind swept look:-(

I feed mine a "normal" feed (ie. not a tomato one) when they are about 5cms long and switch to a tomato one when flowers come...

(And get lots of tasty tomatoes )
