I thought I would share... Looking forward to trying red cucumbers, onions and garlic (oh and orange carrots turned red too!) later this year

Hello
I thought a thread on flower photos could be fun too.
Here's one I took earlier. 2 types of Dahlias and some Cosmos from the garden. Everything is still blooming outside, so as the days get shorter i thought i would take some inside...

Re: What I harvested today!
Today I harvested a bunch of baby beetroot [cylindra, seeds courtesy of KG mag] which i planted in a large pot near the terrasse. They are currently boiling away, i am pickling them for this winter. I also harvest a few carrots (2 purple sun, 2 yellowstone and 1 resistafly) which alongside a couple ...

Just a few branches started to appear a couple of months ago... Even the slugs did not fancy them. Good luck with yours, I am sure someone who has s...

Re: To give away: Flower and Herbs seeds (7 packets)
I must confess I have not and don't think I will. My thyme and rosemary in my herb garden are from the supermarket, as well as my tarragon (plant brought back from France this summer). I believe they are perennials so should be all set unless some disaster happens... I only grow parsley, coriander a...

Re: To give away: Vegetables seeds (7 packets)
Hi Monica Two monthly and one weekly! Wow, this is now giving me ideas... I actually like the free seeds as it triggers some ideas of growing things I would not have brought in the first place (cosmos, red sunflowers, courgettes to name a few), but indeed there are many I am not interested in (cabba...

Re: Blight free tomatoes.
Hi Westi, Thanks - I found your Crimson thread with the photos. How sad. Between the blight and the slugs, what a year. Ppffff OK, that's not the way to start a Friday. Happy Friday everybody, looks like it is sunny in the South. So hopefully so nice time gardening and (day) dreaming of blight free ...
