Went out yesterday to Thorsby park, had a falconry lesson bought me for my birthday,the weather was very cold but when you have got a full grown golden eagle on your arm you don,t give the weather a second thought, AWSOME!

brown leeks
Harvested some leeks today and they all had brown stains in them and a small hole in them,apart from that they looked healthy,good size,clean leaf,healthy roots,could you tell me what it might be please.

Monika, i have grown electric for the last three years and this year they were the same as yours,but they still taste nice, i have put them in again this autumn and they are already about 3" high.

tomatoes with skins on with the rest of the ingredients, bring to the boil blend seive, better than anything i,ve had out of a tin.

six honeydew melons and about a dozen fair sized beef tomatoes were harvested yesterday out of the polytunnel,unfortunatley not by me (rats again Grrr!)

went down the allotment around lunch time, it was really quiet with a yellow/grey sky and a dull red globe poking through, erie!
