thanks for helping me locate the spade but unfortunately i am looking for a blade that is narrow but also curved the cutting edge was wider than the rest of the blade.it was used to turn over the scraw or turf the operator didn't need to bend down because of the curve in the blade the Irish heritage...

we have always used fresh manure for planting potatoes the manure comes from my father he uses little to no chemicals so the manure is clean.. according to many books fresh manure shouldn't be used to grow anything .my family have always used fresh manure and so to have many of my neighbours.if you ...

i use 7 inch guttering that i bought in our local builders supply store .i just screwed them onto wooden stakes .i did have to make ends for the guttering and also drilled little holes about 1/2 inch up from the base for drainage.

i bought black salsify duplex in lidl.i don't know how to grow them or when to sow them.can i treat them like parsnips and pre germinate them then put them into loo roll inners and eventually plant them out under a cold frame.what is the best way to treat these seeds.are they even worth growing.what...

the big ones are great for making chutney that is put into sterilized jars.i also use the big onions to make tomato sauces that i freeze in batches.when we need a batch of sauce we just put the frozen sauce into a pot then put it on the range to defrost and in about 30 minutes we have a ready made s...
