We are normally away a lot more than we have been this year ,we have been talking about this today as if all is ok we are going away next week, I am lucky I've got a mate 3 plots up who waters the pollytunnel for us and another who feeds the chickens only problem is I can't find anyone to do the wed...

I found one of our old hens dead on Wednesday morning she had stopped laying around ten months ago she was given to us by a friend of our eldest daughter she was the one that laid a few massive eggs one was nearly four inches high it weighed 120 gram at the time it was 20 gram short of the world rec...

I know how you feel Johnboy I takes me a full day to do what I would have done in an hour a few years ago but I get there, got an appointment to see the consultant on Thursday hope I get the ok to carry on living with out all types of bypasses and stents

I have had a similar problem in the past I was told to make sure it is getting it's fair share of grit ,mine was but it did not stop ,you have to make sure it douse not eat other chickens eggs as they can get a taste for them ,there is only one sure way of stopping it ,I think you know what it is

It was not a mistake that was the forecast 8 inches in 2 hours ,we missed it but a place eight miles away called runcorn got it I believe the town had manhole tops lifting up with the force of the water, they are lucky ,runcorn is on the river Mersey plenty of room for the water to run too

Surprise, surprise , we had all of 3 minutes of rain the weather warning vanished with out trace the plot is in need of a good watering as everyone had seen the forecast so nobody watered yesterday

We have had seven days of wall to wall sunshine, tonight we have a weather warning ,20 cm of rain in 2hours then sunshine again Sunday and monday

Hi johnboy, I think I made a similar mistake ,I bought 2 bags from aldi why I do not know ,that is my problem I've also scattered it on my raised beds

I've the same problem I've planted my French beans three times Ive had 3 out of 60 germinate much the same with my Pease I blame the potting compost, other things have struggled but not as bad as these
